Positive

It’s where my hand was
but it’s kinda okay
I can light a cigarette with the left.

What gets me is the dreams
I stay awake a lot and watch tv
it doesn’t matter too much
cause now I live alone

I miss seeing my kid but
it’s better this way
my temper’s so short

we useda be a family
but these days I fit in more
with the guys
we hang out -- kill time.

I score a pretty positive attitude
but I wish I could be back there
I was so alive then
so alive
